More content is produced today than ever before. Take the WordPress CMS, for example, a platform used by authors to publish more than 536 million posts every year. That’s a lot of content. It’s incredible to think those authors alone invest billions of hours each year writing, editing, and crafting the great reading we take for granted. All of which makes the content editor, like TinyMCE, one of the most widely used (and possibly under-appreciated) pieces of software.

Tiny retains our content creation leadership position

Today we’re proud to announce that, for the sixth year, Tiny was recognized by EContent as one of the companies that “matter most in the digital content industry”.

This doesn’t happen without our customers. This is your win! The entire Tiny team thanks the millions of software developers, small business owners, and Fortune 5000 enterprises who choose Tiny solutions to power their content creation experiences.

The annual EContent 100 list is a who’s who of software “heavyweights”, and includes many well-known content companies in a wide range of sectors. It’s humbling to be counted as a peer of companies like Adobe, Automattic (WordPress), Contently, Nielsen, Open Text, SAP, SDL, Spotify, Twitter, Vimeo, and Wistia.

It’s also worth noting that Tiny powers solutions provided by many of the companies in the EContent 100. There’s a symbiotic relationship between our editor platform and the success of these businesses. Those who choose Tiny understand this, but if you find this surprising, perhaps we should make time to chat.

EContent recognizes the power of peer reviews

This year, EContent turned to their readers to choose the winners, which makes the recognition even more worthwhile.

Congratulations to the companies on the list who won the hearts and votes of their peers and customers.

Theresa Cramer, EContent Editor

Tiny believes in the power of peer review and recommendations too. So we’re also pleased to announce that, for the third time this year, Tiny leads G2’s quarterly WYSIWYG Editors report.

What’s new at Tiny?

Tiny solutions power thousands of businesses, from Atlassian, to Marketo, to Zendesk. We are laser-focused on delivering the next era of applications for content creation. For example, we recently launched a modern, mobile UI for TinyMCE, reflecting how many professionals create content on the go.

More than one million developers and thousands of enterprise customers count on the TinyMCE open source core and the extended platform of premium plugins, cloud services, and support.

About the EContent 100

The EContent 100 recognizes the companies that matter the most to the digital content industry. EContent turns to its readers to select the honorees with the results published in the November 2019 issue of EContent magazine. The complete list is available on the EContent website.
