# Spelling options

## Spell Checker Pro

TinyMCE Spell Checker Pro is a premium feature that allows spell checking as-you-type and custom dictionary words.

## `browser_spellcheck`

This option configures TinyMCE to use the browser’s native spell checker.

For integrated spell-checking, check out the [Spell Checker Pro](../introduction-to-tiny-spellchecker/) plugin.

**Type:** `Boolean`

**Default value:** `false`

**Possible values:** `true`, `false`

```js
tinymce.init({
  selector: 'textarea',  // change this value according to your HTML
  browser_spellcheck: true
});
```
